Founded in 2002 as a real estate development company, Urban Partners has always taken a “hands on” approach to development, coordinating all facets in-house, including site acquisition, the zoning and approvals process, project and construction management. Our philosophy is that development does not occur in a vacuum and thus we have an ethical responsibility when changing the environment around us. Thus, we have always made it a point to focus on innovative architecture, sound design principles and proper planning. With over $50 million in completed in-fill single-family and multifamily projects, our company is very proud to have contributed in the revitalization and improvement of our urban landscape.
However, the company’s formula for success is based upon its ability to recognize and position itself in Florida’s growth markets and implement diversified strategies to take meet the needs of these markets. Therefore, as the residential real estate markets began to decline in 2006, Urban Partners sought new opportunities where we could not only adapt to, but perhaps flourish in. Considering that some of our core competencies lie in construction and engineering, it was a natural fit for us to branch out into general contracting and third-party construction management. In 2007, Urban Partners Construction was formed as a fully licensed, bondable and insured construction company. Since then we have worked on a very diverse portfolio of both successful private and public projects and we look forward to the new opportunities and challenges that come with fully committing ourselves to our client’s projects.
